Partner-In-Wine is for the duration of two seasons.
Cultivation cost of £75/€115 (per row) is required at the start
of the rental year.
The number of bottles per yielded row and their cost
is calculated on the previous years production. On average over the last
three years 120 bottles are produced per row, at a price of £3.50
per bottle.
A choice of wine from different vintages is possible
depending on the stock levels available.
Your wine is able for collection at any time in the
year, though we would like advanced warning of collection.
Domaine du Merchien also offers the possibilities of
creating your own label or have “bottled for” on your bottle

Collection of your wine at any point in the year, can
be made either here at or at Domaine du Merchien or a French ferry port
(or any point in France).
We use the French railway system “SERNAM”
to transport our wine, which we find very efficient, the wine can be left
at the railway station ready for collection by a Partner-In-Wine.
We also use a transport company slightly cheaper than
SERNAM, which delivers your wine to a warehouse in Calais, which is open
all day Saturday, an advantage over SERNAM, though there is a collection
charge per case which make each system equal in cost.
